In line with the recent acquisition of Well Control Solutions (WCS) by Sharpe™ in April 2022, we are rebranding! In response to feedback from our employees and customers, and in defining a strategic approach to accomplishing the goals of each business, we have taken the next step in rebranding WCS to become one unified company under the Sharpe™ banner.
As one unified company, we will offer well control equipment sales, service and rentals, complimenting the existing manufacturing and engineering design capability of Sharpe™, to our customers in the oil and gas industry.
Peter Sharpe, CEO, says, “Acquiring WCS was a big win for us — it presents a huge opportunity to build up our rental service and bring maintenance of well control equipment in-house with our API accreditation”, adding “No other company in Australia is offering a package like this.”

Customers and suppliers of both Sharpe and WCS are now offered one centralised approach to sales and service, helping to avoid the inefficiency that comes with multiple stakeholders trying to work on different pieces of the same puzzle.—
While the WCS name has changed to Sharpe™, customers can still expect to receive the same great service by the same team, and the same unrivalled level of quality across our range of well control products.

While the transition of WCS to Sharpe™ will be effective from 1st November 2022, it will be business as usual with our team continuing to operate from our Richlands location, and all points of contact for well control equipment and service to remain the same.
